"The very concept of objective truth
is fading out of the world.
Lies will pass into history. "
"Until lions have their historians,
tales of the hunt
shall always glorify the hunters. "
"The past is malleable and flexible,
changing as our recollection interprets
and re-explains what has happened. "
Even a good black and white photograph is not black and white. There are hundreds of subtle gradations of grey. And so with Life and History. It's complicated; not clear cut.
